Birthday Trip Part II: Out in LA

IMG_5919.jpg

While in LA for my birthday I did a lot of relaxing on my friend’s balcony hammock. When I am on vacation, wherever I go, I like to make sure that I take time to relax and recharge because I hate coming back home feeling like I need another vacation.  I did however make it out to a few places that I would definitely recommend visiting if you are in the area.

E.P. & L.P.

If you are looking for a boozy brunch followed by an Instagram worthy rooftop definitely check out E.P. & L.P. Don’t go for the food or the service, which are both decent but the music and overall vibe are the real selling points.

Wurstkuche

Some of my Aggie family may have this same memory. It’s a hazy summer night in downtown Greensboro and you are just getting out of the club. You’re starved and you smell a seductive sent. The aroma is wafting from the cart of a street food guy, who is there to save your life night, with a hot link. Now image my surprise to find a spot in LA that gave me all these same feels, bringing back this long forgotten memory. After a long brunch filled day and a night of dancing, Jessica introduced me to Wustkuche, the post grad version of the hot link cart (long line and wait included). Not joking the line started out of the door, but that just goes to show how amazing these sausages are!
